The FIFA Technical Study Group awarded Spain’s goalkeeper and captain Iker Casillas the Golden Glove for his outstanding play during the 2010 World Cup. Casillas took heat after Spain’s tournament opening loss to the Swiss because some people felt he was distracted by his girlfriend and Telecinco reporter Sara Carbonero. Things worked out well as Casillas led the Spaniards to the Cup title and got to celebrate with Sara afterwards. She was trying to be a serious reporter but an emotional Iker couldn’t stop himself from kissing her during the interview. This time it’s fair to call Sara Carbonero a distraction.
